Dr. Anthony Fauci doubled down on claims that the coronavirus likely originated from an animal then was transmitted to humans in a Thursday morning interview on CNN, despite increasing speculation that it leaked from a China lab.
Fauci, who served under former President Trump and President Joe Biden, continues to fight the idea that he downplayed theories that the virus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology after a trove of emails exchange at the beginning of the pandemic revealed he was warned about a potential lab leak.
'I have always said and will say today to you ... that I still believe the most likely origin is from an animal species to a human,' Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Thursday on CNN.
Although he said he's keeping an open mind about the possibility of a lab leak, Fauci said it was 'far-fetched' to think the Chinese would kill their own people.
'The idea, I think, is quite far-fetched that the Chinese deliberately engineered something so that they could kill themselves, as well as other people. I think that’s a bit far out.'
In a separate Thursday morning interview on MSNBC, Fauci said they want to definitively find the cause of the coronavirus pandemic - whatever that origin is - but pointing the finger at China isn't going to help.
'It's in China's interest to find out exactly what it is,' Fauci said. 'Obviously, you want openness and cooperation. One of the ways to get it is not to be accusatory. Try to get a forensic, scientific and investigational approach. I think the accusatory part about it is only going to make (China) pull back more.'

Even if it’s intentional, nothing will be done about it here and now as too many people are connected with it and won’t let justice be done..
Ultimately if it was intentional, they will have to answer to god for it. And that will be far worse than anything we can do to them here on earth.

Releasing it on themselves would make sense since it attacked the elderly. Getting people to have more kids mean a nice young army...especially if they can get them to abort females. Which is what I think they did at one time....which left them with less “breeders”.

That’s a very flawed argument, like equating murder with an accidental gun discharge resulting in death. If this was an accident, then the world must demand stronger safeguards. If this was an act of genocide that turned into an act of war, then China must be treated as a pariah nation that deserves isolation and banishment from the world of civilization, or even stronger measures.
The Chinese have a “too many old people” problem right now, thanks in part to the one child rule.
If you think for one minute that the Chinese government wouldn’t create and -oops- release a virus that is bad about disproportionately affecting the elderly and those with serious health problems while sparing the young and healthy workers and children, well . . .
I understand that.
However, my point was, that for all practical purposes, since there will be no justice done currently, it really doesn’t matter for us on a practical level.
Whether the release was accidental or deliberate, we have to deal with the same consequences should we get sick. The reason for the release does not factor in how I have to deal with it on a personal level. It’s here with us now and up to us to manage as best we can.
That’s what I was really trying to get across. I guess I didn’t communicate it clearly.

Look at the disease—It was to kill old people only—and a few younger sick people with illnesses. The people who were a drudge on the state. Empty the nursing homes. Think of the money they would save? It was a specially made “Thin the Population designed sickness.” It was to stop the “Freedom Movement” in Hong Kong. Get rid of Trump in the USA and make millions for China. This “Bio-war,” was a success for China and helps them on their way to becoming a world power. If we don’t stop this—they will do it again with a sickness that only kills non-Han Chinese—the perfect bio-weapon for them. If I was a betting man, I would bet they are working on it right now—and we are paying for it!
Here he is avoiding a truthful answer by answering a question not asked. Only a few folks are making the claim that they deliberately released this virus. It got out, because chinese communists have no concept whatsoever of quality control.
I really am hoping that Rand Paul won't let him bob and weave next time he has him under oath.

Dr. Fauci using taxpayer dollars funded gain of function research at the Wuhan China weapons laboratory. The evil Dr. Fauci thinks it is important to juice up viruses to make them more toxic for humans.
As for Dr. Fauci claiming the Chinese Government would not kill its own citizens, he may want to refresh his memory with the Tieneman Square massacre and the internment camps and slave labor factories the CCP enjoys.
