Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks and other members of the largest Republican caucus’ leadership will hold a summit with former President Donald Trump in New Jersey next week, the Indiana Republican confirmed to The Post.
“At Republican Study Committee, we’ve been very busy as we develop the consensus conservative agenda for the future of the Republican Party, and that agenda is the Trump agenda,” he said, noting that the June 10 trip to New Jersey will be the first time several of the members have met with Trump since he left office.

Sadly, that simply is not going to happen. There is no provision anywhere in our system to overturn a national election. There is an outside possibility that some states might -- repeat MIGHT -- decertify their election results, but even if they did it would lead to chaos rather than the result we want.

We don't have chaos now, but we do have an illegitimate administration in place. We probably have a number of senators and representatives who are illegitimate also, but there's no way to verify this suspicion.
If a way could be found to legitimately overturn the election, I'm all for it, but again, there is no mechanism in our system other than the slim possibility that several states would decertify their elections.
We don't have to like or agree with this situation, but we should be realistic. Let's work toward ensuring something like 2020 never happens again.
