Evers (D, WI) announces 2022 re-election campaign team

MADISON, WI - Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has selected the team he hopes will guide him to a second term in office.

On Wednesday, the governor’s campaign organization announced its top leadership, which will be led by Campaign Manager Cassi Fenili, who served as the deputy campaign manager in Evers successful 2018 run. The University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate most recently served as an advisor to the Democratic Party in its Save the Veto initiative, which strove to avoid state Republicans from winning a supermajority in the state legislature during the 2020 election.

“Over the past two years, Governor Evers has already taken bold action to get our state back on track,” Fellini said. “Now, this team and our supporters across Wisconsin are ready to continue building support for the governor’s Badger Bounceback plan and keep Wisconsin moving in the right direction.”

Haley Barbour will serve as finance director for the campaign. Evers’ camp described her fundraising operations in the Midwest as “groundbreaking” and noted that she helped raise $30 million for Barbara Bollier’s bid to claim a Kansas senate seat for the Democratic Party for the first time since 1932. Bollier lost that campaign for the seat that was vacated by Sen. Pat Roberts to Republican Dr. Roger Marshall.

Leading on Strategic Initiatives will be Atanu Chakravarty, while Sam Roecker will serve as the campaign’s top spokesperson.

“We’re excited to bring this talented group of people together to support Governor Evers and the work he’s doing across our state,” Fenili added.

The naming of his top leadership is one of Evers first moves toward seeking another term. He has not made the official announcement yet, nor has he filed for re-election

Governor Scott Walker LEFT Wisconsin on the RIGHT TRACK! Evers has done absolutely nothing while in office, which is actually ALSO due to Governor Walker.

Fingers crossed for a challenge from Ex-Lt Governor Rebecca Kleefisch!

Kleefish is a looker. Those things count. I’d rather see Walker run. Give the voters a chance to admit they are wrong.

Walker lost to vote fraud in Milwaukee.

We need someone fresh to lead WI. Robin Vos is the state Assembly Speaker and he's only 52. He has done a great job at advancing Walker's agenda and stopping Evers.

We are, of course, assuming the Democrats will be relinquishing their total control of the US voting system in time for the 2022 election, right?

Haley Barbour as Finance Director???? Is this someone with the same name as the Miss. Barbour? What about former Congressman Duffy as a possible candidate? Or is he making too much money at Fox?

The only reason inept, senile Evers is running for Re-election is the State Dem party Boses were afraid that idiot, radical LT. Governor Mandela Barnes would be crushed and the entire Dam ticket would suffer.

Mandela will have to wait until 2026 to become Governor if he can stay out of jail.

God Help US if Evers gets in again. He's the biggest nothing for governor I've ever seen. His pan face, constant stare is annoying. He shows not an ounce of energy. Comes from the Edumakation sector of Wisconsin. That is what's wrong for a start.

Rebecca is a REAL fighter, excellent and would make a fantastic Governor.

Wisconsin election in 2020 was clearly stolen along with the voting rights of all 5.5 million of us here in our great state.

Darn Wisconsin GOP did NOTHING about the steal. NO ONE ever stops counting ballots, EVER as a poll worker. Been there - done that many times. NOPE, NADA..... you don't stop. EVER.

Evers has been a total disaster. Pro Teacher's Union IS a bad thing. Hacked off that ACT 10 was a huge success for Wisconsin taxpayers. Thanks Walker.

No doubt he’ll incorporate the Dominion company to deliver him victory like in the Congressional race in N. M. yesterday where a democrat won. Dominion Co is the communist democrats savior.

We call him, “Mandela ‘Deadbeat’ Barnes.”

He has a penchant for not paying parking tickets, having people drive him around in State vehicles and Police cars, and he’s always late on his condo mortgage.

Yep. A stellar example to black youth, everywhere! *BARF*

“An ART TEACHER? RIGHT?”

Promoted to his level or incompetence once already as Director of Public Instruction!

Nice work if you can get it!
