Voters will decide next Tuesday which Republican will face Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy in November.
Whoever it is, he will immediately be an underdog.
Murphy's popularity has surged during the COVID-19 pandemic; Democratic voter registration now outnumbers Republicans by more than 1 million; and Murphy has raised and spent the most money of all candidates.
That all bodes well for Murphy to win a second term.
But Murphy isn't looming as large in the Republican primary as former President Donald Trump.

So having an appalling record on seniors’ homes deaths only surpassed by NY had this Democrat governor’s popularity surging during the pandemic? It really takes your breath away the stuff that INGSOC media will say with a straight face.
I can't wait to get the hell out of NJ.
Joisey is as f’d up as NY, CA, and Ill.
There are the beaches. And the tomatoes. And the pizza.
And there are a lot of people in the state who are okay. My NJ county voted for Trump. Some people in the state are not bat**** crazy.
As Chris Christie once pointed out: "If New Jersey is not your domicile, you are only considered a resident if you maintain a permanent home and spend more than 183 days here."
I managed to spend more than 183 days outside of New Jersey every year during my road warrior days, without even trying.
Just like New Jersey, Florida's weather makes it unlivable for about 1/3 of the year, it's just a different 1/3. I could stand living in Florida for more than 183 days of the year if it meant avoiding many of NJ's crazy taxes. Avoiding bad weather would just be gravy.

Yep, they go inside when the temps are too hot, we in the north go inside when the temps are too cold.

Just be sure to wear footwear at all times.....a walk on wooden steps will burn your feet....and hot sand is no fun!
