Supreme Court shuts down attempt to treat asylum-seekers' testimony as credible

The Supreme Court on Tuesday shut down an attempt to treat the testimony of asylum-seekers as credible, siding with the federal government against people seeking refuge in the country.

The court unanimously found that a previous ruling from the California-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit had incorrectly ruled that in immigration cases, noncitizens' testimonies must be treated as credible or true. The court vacated the 9th Circuit's decision and sent it back to lower courts for further consideration...

...In both cases, Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote, the 9th Circuit was wrong to interfere because of a technical question. That court, he said, had no place in imposing its own rules on the administrative requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act ....

SC starting to make a few sane little decisions here and there.

At least there’s no more mean tweets.

The Ninth is constantly seeing their decisions overturned. You think they will ever realize how ridiculous they look?

Unanimous. You think maybe the SC is trying to send a message to Sentator Blumenthal?

#7. Nobody can send a message to “Lying” Sen. Blumenthal. He’s a psychopath and proud of it. If “Charles Manso” had triplets, they would all look and sound like Blumie.

Blumenthal should have been prosecuted for violating “The Stolen Valor Act” since he used his false claims of having served in Vietnam for his political campaign for the Senate.

If Charles Manson had a twin brother, it would have been Blumenthal.

I’d really like to see Blumenthal walk unwittingly into an open manhole, and I might even take credit for it.

I would like to see Blumenthal walk into a bar frequented by Vietnam vets. We are getting old, but I suspect he would go out on a stretcher.
