I have relatives in AZ and NM so will be watching with interest, asking for opinions there.

"Other than the fact NM-1 is rated "solid dem" year in and year out? Last night's results are in line with those of the past decade.

So all the talk about the GOP taking the seat and the race being an indicator about what's to come was just hot air; sigh.

Cheating just like Trump’s loss.

“Albuquerque is home to most moronic people on earth.”

IQ Moronic or Ideologically Moronic?

I always thought Minneapolis was the hands-down winner in terms of stupidity.

Not certain who you read/listen to, but from what I read, there was no expectation the Repub could win. The question was, “How much will the Repub lose by?” I think Trump lost the CD by 30 points, so the republicans were hoping for a moral victory of losing in the high single digits, which would mean energy/enthusiasm on the right and a boost to recruiting better candidates for next year. However, anything less than 30 points would be welcome.

The Pub lost by 24 points. He won all of Torrence County and slivers of northern Valencia and southern Santa Fe counties (likely Los Lunas and Edgewood, respectively). It appears he lost the part of Sandoval County immediately north of ABQ (Rio Rancho and Corrales).

Here on East Coast news announced the Dem won, to replace her predecessor who is now appointed to an administration position. I doubt they would have moved the former Congresswoman if they didn’t have a good strong candidate and could discourage other Dem or liberal contenders from running and diluting the vote. Given the split between the Trump Pubs and the other kinds of Pubs, we may see a lot of that in 22 elections.

Did they use Dominion machines and mail in ballots?

This is what happens when you put up wimpy RINOs who listen to RINO consultants and stay away from actual issues.

But is that a FL situation where the rats jump out to a big lead due to much higher mail in votes getting counted first?

No runoffs required except in the South, and even there are exceptions as in TN and KY.
