I’ve never disliked Vladimir. His move into Ukraine was pre-emptive strike to ensure their military base in Sevastopal never came under control of NATO. Simple Russian Patriotic move that is hard to argue...unless you listen to mainstream propaganda.
I don’t understand why Russia and US couldn’t be strategic allies at least. I know about Bay of Pigs and Cold War. But it seems there have been major shifts in geopolitics since that time.
