Possibly, but it may be just a ‘direct quote’.......................
In the context of the use of these “scare quotes” they are being employed by the newspaper o show their less intelligent readers that the use of the word “fabricated” by (in their words) a “right wing dirty trickster” is being used as red meat to stir up the conservative base, but the use of the word “fabricated” is completely erroneous because the charges against Trump are true.
Like the charges being false and made up?
