Kelly appears pretty solid. Alaska deserves far better than Murkowski.

This same message needs to be echoed by many other Republican primary candidates. It is not just oil and gas leases either. It is mining, lumber and farming. The federal government gets in the way of all of these and more. Here in PA there has been a little bit of noise about mining rare earth elements in addition oil and gas. That is coming from Lou Barletta who is running for governor and Jeff Bartos who is running for Arlen Toomey’s seat.

Seems to me this not only applies to Alaska but states like Californica and every state which has so called fossil energy reserves both coal and oil and this includes llinois which has both. Cal and Alaska, TX, and possibly Penn has enough stuff there they not only get the stuff from the ground but process it into fuel so that their gas would only cost $1.50 or even less a gallon
