Now, covid cases are certainly not "cases" in the traditional sense insofar as symptoms aren't always present. But that would shrink the denominator and pump up the fatality rate.
I am sorry you view my presentation of data as fear-mongering. Indeed, if you read my sentence below the grid, you'd hopefully see how I view the CNN article as fear-mongering and that my data is actually an antidote to MSM sophistry.
It is no different for this bug; many people who fret about the 95% of death certs with COVID having comorbidities are fretting about normal record keeping.

Doctors and coroners have said that the rules changed for Covid-19. In the past, they listed what they believed, based on medical training, was the cause of death.
For Covid-19, Covid was ALWAYS promoted to primary cause of death. What would have been, in the past, ‘died with Covid” became “died of Covid”.
A reporter asked the CDC person to confirm someone dying from a motorcycle accident would be reported as a Covid-19 death as long as that person had a positive (even asymptomatic) covid test within the prior 60 days.
The stats are fake, fake, fake. Most people were not tested, incidence of Covid was more common, likelyhood of a child dying of covid were, according to one physician, ‘vanishingly small”.
Your stats are larger than worse case scenarios I’ve seen.
