Hey there, radu!

Darn it! I missed seeing it. I forgot to turn on the cam till I read your post *slapping forehead*, and then it only went back to 11:28pm. Must have been a good one, though.

We got 2” in the gauge and I’ll swear it was way more than that. We’ve never had a river like that flowing at the corner. I think the wind was blowing so hard part of the time, it didn’t go in properly. It’s still cloudy, we can still hear thunder in the distance to the SW of us, and there are more storms. And not one storm chaser. LOL!

I’m glad the event for the Republican women was a grand success. Sorry you forgot the camera, but no worries. Hope there were no “disrupters” there. Of course, they’d have been swiftly dealt with. LOL!

Plus right now there is a line of storms west of us, near Kermit/Wink [home of Roy Orbison], that is headed our way. I think it’s nap time. See ya later!

I checked the cam as soon as I read an email about the quake. That was my first thought. This makes the third shaker I’ve seen on that cam since I started watching it.
It was impressive but I’m sure it wasn’t fun for those who felt it. It was a loooooong one.

I know what you mean about wind blowing rain past the rain gauge since it happens here quite a bit. There will be a couple of inches in the gauge but the lakes across the farm say there was more.
You got some really good rain, though your hubby probably won’t appreciate it. Rain = mowing. LOL

Our group didn’t put on the Memorial Day ceremony today. Local veteran groups did and we were there to serve some food afterwards. Some of the women in the group are veterans.

No, no disruptors. That type know better than to try that here. They’re WAY outnumbered in this area and know they’d be dealt with most unpleasantly, so we really don’t have much of that kind of trouble here.

It would be hard for the morning to have been more perfect.
