British agents now believe it is “feasible” that the global pandemic began with a coronavirus leak from a Chinese research laboratory.
In a significant sharpening of tension with Beijing, they are investigating a possible leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which Beijing angrily insists was not the source of the virus that has caused more than 3.5 million deaths and is still raging globally.
They do so as controversy grows about the alleged silencing of scientists who wanted an investigation of the lab-leak theory.
For the past 16 months — since China first confirmed that people were infecting one another with a new and deadly virus in the city of Wuhan — British, American and other western intelligence agencies have appeared to discount the possibility of the virology institute playing a role in the pandemic.
Western intelligence, including in Britain, at first considered there was only a “remote” chance that it had leaked from the laboratory, where research is conducted into bat-derived coronaviruses, including one closely associated with Covid-19. Now, however, there had been a reassessment, and a lab escape is thought “feasible”, sources revealed.
Last week Joe Biden ordered his intelligence agencies to investigate the leak theory — and other possible sources of the virus — and report to him within 90 days. British intelligence is working alongside the Americans.
US diplomatic sources said there were concerns that if the origin could not be determined, “this could happen again and we are one wet market or bio lab away from the next spillover”.
MPs are demanding a fresh investigation. The Conservative MP Tom Tugendhat, chairman of the foreign affairs select committee, said: “The silence coming from Wuhan is troubling..

That wall is definitely crumbling. I wonder what is going to happen to the other stories that have been untouchable, such as the US election 2020, the Demo/Rino coup against President Trump 2016 - 2020, and of course the "Climate crisis".
Thank god Australia, UK and to some extent France are still run by pro-Western governments not the mentally ill like in US, Canada and New Zealand.
With that said, hopefully British spooks can attend to the Wuhan Flu origins along with spying on China and other countries for emitting too much carbon dioxide.

I think we all knew the cause early last year. Tactically I can see why no government went after China, as they would be fighting a war at home (with the plague) and abroad - and at a time china was required as part of the supply chain.
Nearly 18-months later many countries have build their own supply chain and are getting ready to hir China.
It will start with a concerted investigation, blame will be apportioned and then the reparations will be agreed. China’s balance of payment surplus with most “developed” countries will be wiped to make those payments.
No shots will be fired.

Those conducting this research, government officials that sanctioned the research, organizations/government officials funding it and lying about it, media propagandists conspiring to hide the truth or derail investigations and big tech officials censoring the dissemination of pertinent facts and or data that would have saved lives need to be held to account for this pandemic.
Anyone involved in this should be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity.

It would not surprise me in the least the CCP would spread the virus in the market as “cover” for the lab leak. This better explains all the extreme theatrics initially reported out of Wuhan, by the obedient press, about government efforts to contain it.
There were initial videos circulated where people were shown dropping dead in the street from the virus. I would suggest this was all a form of theater by the CCP to fabricate “evidence” the virus originated in the market.
It was a feasibility study, a test run.
The next outbreak will be much more serious.
Not even passingly strange. Not when the novel 1984 is a model for society.
