I would mandate that the wombs to be used must be those of the scientists or their spouses so that no innocents would be commandeered.
Their own children are just as innocent as any other. Poetic Justice would somehow make it so that those that would grow up to promote abortion as moral would be the only ones ever aborted before they could do so.
