MLB is BLM backwards.
layers = players
“ the display was not greeted warmly by fans.”
Don’t be so sure. To begin with, the fans displayed the banner. Not everyone in New York votes democrat. Look at the blue red map. And it was not the fans who handcuffed this guy. It was team ownership/security
So...
That tells us all we need to know about professional sports.
“Duh! When did Toronto join the USA?”
Read the headline.
Read the first sentence.
Next up, someone will hack the jumbotron and display TRUMP WON on it.
This is not over.
Your right. Our new world has BLM banners EVERYWHERE ON THE PLAYERS HELMETS, JERSEYS.
But support Trump get outsted.
Not unless tech gets in on the act and scrubs the Internet. We’re getting to that point already.
Displaying "TRUMP WON" on the stadium jumbotron will be like showing the crucifix to Dracula
And I fully support players who want to put Trump won on their jerseys too but we’re talking about the audience I’m the stands.
If anything people should start wearing orange shirts in support of Trump.
Let’s see then kick people out because of that.
I hope they were there only for the stunt because I cannot believe that two Trump supporters would show their faces at an anti-American event such as an MLB game or NFL game.
“So, you’re taking a knee on this one?”
Nope. I just don’t want that cancer spreading from the field into the stands. Last thing I want to see is ban assault weapons signs or defund the police signs in the stands. Political signage has no place in a stadium. Players are handled differently. I personally think, for MLB to retain the antitrust provision, all players should be required to sign in their contract that if they don’t stand for the anthem, they do not play that game and a proportionate amount of pay be forfeited. They can find a cheaper venue to protest than on the job. In the meantime, fans can exercise their free choice whether to put up with that knee crap on the field or boycott attendance.
The people responsible will pay. But I love the enthusiasm
I loved Cosell. He was a terrific showman and most who heard him never realized he was goofing them much of the time.
Is it just me or does the guy in the pic resemble Kramer?
“Isn’t it fairly common for people showing various banners to be ejected from games?”
No, it isn’t. It was a political move to keep customers in and possibly convey the opinion of the Owners of the park and the club.

And these are just a few of them. And being hand held signs those cause more possible danger to the fans around them than a hung banner. Additionally, why were they allowed to bring in a sign of this size since it couldn’t have been hidden in one of their pants pockets and didn’t appear to be folded? Simple, it was either allowed in or brought in by the club to posture fans for them. In other words, it was a pub stunt.

I see the resemblance
