List of potential Grassley challengers grows, but if he runs does he win?

Former Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer is apparently putting together a campaign team. I find this one surprising seeing that as an incumbent she couldn't hold onto her District seat.

Already in the race are Republican State Senator Jim Carlin and on the Democrat side, a farmer named Dave Muhlbauer who I confess I've never heard of and I am having trouble tracking down to get on my show. Democrat J.D Scholten is also apparently considering a run.

If we keep re-electing Assistant Democrats, they will keep assisting the Democrats.

Grassley and Fauxi are poster children for why we desperately need term limits and a mandatory retirement age.

As you are no doubt aware, there are lots of other examples.

Grassley is 87 years old. He would be 94 by the end of another term.

Yes, there are just as many or more examples, especially in the past 4 years, why term limits on politicians without solving how to expunge the entrenched, un-removable bureaucrats and agency staffers would insure that NOTHING WOULD EVER CHANGE and the “swamp” would become even more bulletproof than it is today.

Crying “Term Limits” on dinosaurs like Grassley and company sounds good until you think about it for more than 30 seconds, then it becomes nothing more than a lazy bumper sticker slogan. Staff rules now, term limit pols and not only does staff rules but then they become the emperor’s.

“Been in the Senate since 1981”

And in the US House from 1975-81.

Before that he was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 1959-75.

No one, regardless of whether there’s an R or D after their name, should hold office for as long as Grassley has.

Grassley can barely read what he staff writes for him to read. New blood is desperately needed.

As and Iowan, Grassley is a deep state ally farm subsidy stooge. I believe his Luciferian faith (Masonic Lodge) has clouded his judgment

He will be replaced. But we don’t need another Georgia or Arizona. Have him replaced by the governor.

Term limits are not the magic answer. But everyone wants a magic answer.

What are the down side to term limits? Or do people REALLY THINK THERE ARE NONE?

Just like liberals, pass another law and that will fix things.
