In August, the Seattle City Council defunded the department in response to the riots following the death of George Floyd. Millions of dollars were funneled from the police department to local activist organizations, many of which were involved in the riots and the autonomous zone.
Crime has spiked exponentially across the city, as have the length of 911 response times. Last month, it took police almost an hour to respond to reports of a gun on a public school campus. The Seattle homicide rate in 2020 doubled from 2019 and is continuing the same upward climb in 2021.

The state of Washington is charging three Tacoma (just South of Seattle) police officers with murder & man slaughter in the death of a drugged up suspect in an arrest from March 2020.

The only surprise is, it’s not more. I spent 30 years in the Military. I wouldn’t take a job as a Policeman in a Liberal City under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

This means that the dispatching of police, EMTs, and firefighting units will be placed directly into the hands of leftwing political activists. Seattle is in for a very rough ride.

thanks, not familiar with the facts of that case- I do know that Chauvin was innocent based on all the video evidence and testimony proving he never kneeled on floyd’s neck- i watched all the video of the case- and floyd was breathign the whole time contrary to his drugged out claim that he couldn’t-
I’d have to know more about the minneapolis case to make a judgement-
I’ve chatted with that officer with the City of Atlanta PD. He’s stuck for 4-5 years, then he’s outta there.
I hope there’s a corresponding drop at home values

The Minneapolis is the Chauvin case. The arrests of the Tacoma officers happened I believe today from a near exact replica of the Chauvin case, a year ago, before the Chauvin case even happened.
