Abstract
Long-lived bone marrow plasma cells (BMPCs) are a persistent and essential source of protective antibodies1–7. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) convalescent individuals have a significantly lower risk of reinfection8–10. Nonetheless, it has been reported that anti-SARS-CoV-2 serum antibodies experience rapid decay in the first few months after infection, raising concerns that long-lived BMPCs may not be generated and humoral immunity against this virus may be short-lived11–13.
Here we demonstrate that in patients who experienced mild infections (n=77), serum anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) antibodies decline rapidly in the first 4 months after infection and then more gradually over the following 7 months, remaining detectable at least 11 months after infection. Anti-S antibody titers correlated with the frequency of S-specific BMPCs obtained from bone marrow aspirates of 18 SARS-CoV-2 convalescent patients 7 to 8 months after infection. S-specific BMPCs were not detected in aspirates from 11 healthy subjects with no history of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
We demonstrate that S-binding BMPCs are quiescent, indicating that they are part of a long-lived compartment. Consistently, circulating resting memory B cells directed against the S protein were detected in the convalescent individuals.
Overall, we show that SARS-CoV-2 infection induces a robust antigen-specific, long-lived humoral immune response in humans.

And this was first posted on FR on... the daily COVID-19 Vaccinations in the United States thread.
Was it its own thread?
Might this, might that.
Dog might not stop to zhit—and catch the cat.
The daily COVID-19 Vaccinations in the United States thread is it’s own thread.
Wasn’t criticizing this as duplication.
Pointing out that the COVID-19 Vaccinations in the United States thread. despite the hatred of the ^extreme^ anti-vaxxers to it, is a fount of new and interesting info.
zhit ? You mean 5hit.
“Might this” huh?

Not one “might” not even a slight hedge.
Do you think we can’t read? Or that nobody will call out your nonsense?
That’s ok. Antibodies don’t last forever. They will eventually clear out. What matters is the long lasting memory B cells are there and they will help create more antibodies if and when the need arises.
This is great news. And now the jab mandated and pressure should rightly fade away.
Anyone who fails to believe what you believe is accused of “extreme hatred”? You people need to get a life.
“extreme hatred”
A ‘quote’ from your imagination.
Glad you at last have imagination.
Too much fear and hype on all sides based on “mights” and “coulds”
For whatever reason(s), 100+ years of virology went out the window. Of course prior infection confers immunity. We’ve known that, like, for ages. I have no idea what is motivating this craze to vaccinate the previously infected. Seems there is an elevated risk of inflammatory reaction but the data is not very well distributed.
Does that support your nonsense post?
Cite one “might” in the abstract. It says the vaccine is useless or worse for people who have recovered from COVID-19.
The vaxxers don’t know how to respond yet... this is a duplicate post seems to be the best they have.
I think I know the “reason” common sense was short circuited, and it ain’t good.

A British study.
“From June 18, 2020, to Dec 31, 2020, 30 625 participants were enrolled into the study...
A previous history of SARS-CoV-2 infection was associated with an 84% lower risk of infection, with median protective effect observed 7 months following primary infection...”
Higher than I expected!”

Media certainly has a ‘narrative’, but science doesn’t.
This finding if accurate is simply great news.
People that already had COVID whether vaccinated or not have good immunity. People that haven’t yet caught COVID but have been vaccinated have good immunity. People that have not yet had either will either gain immunity by infection and hopefully recovering or by getting lucky and avoiding infection altogether as the virus runs into herd immunity.
In any case, the Chicom bioweapon’s days are numbered.
Agree with you, I think.
There’s evidence of much improved protection from one dose of mRNA vaccine for a prev infected.

But how much protection does one need really?
How did recovered Covid patients get conned into “getting the jab” then?
Was it Fauci?
The CDC?
MSM?
Democrats?
Vax trolls I social media?
Big pharma?
All of the above?
