Towers also demanded that any tribal government also be allowed to put a flag in each classroom upon request.

The Department of State under President Biden issued guidance to all “Diplomatic and Consular posts” encouraging official displays of support for Black Lives Matter (BLM) on the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder on May 25 and beyond, according to a new report.
According to a leaked memo from an anonymous State Department source, the department wrote that it “supports the use of the term ‘Black Lives Matter’ in messaging content” as well as in speeches and foreign diplomatic engagements on May 25 “and beyond.”
The memo allows U.S. diplomats to fly the Black Lives Matter flag outside of embassies. Fox News verified the authenticity of the memo first reported by Human Events, a conservative American political news and analysis newspaper and website.
Specifically, the memo acts as an “authorization” for agency higher-ups to “display the BLM flag on the external-facing flagpole to any Chiefs of Mission who determine such a display is appropriate in light of local conditions.”

Gresham is just a continuation of Portland, and Portland schools’ administrators are, throughout, poorly educated and anti-intellectual Marxist tools.
While I could understand having Tribal Government flags in classroom of schools that are in Tribal Government jurisdictions, (along with the American Flag), having all the other flags is a bit silly. Let’s get the POW Flag in the classroom too! A Don’t tread on me a Trump as Rambo flag and finally a Gun’s and Roses 1988 tour flag!
MY kids would be home schooled so fast they wouldn’t need shoes anymore.
No worries, flag burning is protected speech. “It’s just a scrap of cloth”, if you’ll recall. The kiddies can get their civics training this way, along with say, primitive fire starting, and some of the teachers will learn something too.

Or, hold a special ceremony in which such flags and masks could be publicly burned. The imagery will imply a link to book-burning, but worthwhile nonetheless.
So now flag burning by conservative kids is ok, right?
I will not set foot in that state, nor spend one dime there.
Couple of folks have said that if you ‘tested’ throughout Oregon....kids in inner-city of Portland would score the least of any district in the state. It would be curious to see if such tests exist and how it ranks.

My family has said the same thing - my son turned down a coveted promotion and transfer to Portland.
We love the Oregon coast and used to vacation there, Eugene and the Mt. Hood area too.

In my old, broken down mind, Oregon, Washington and California do not exist. Nothing good ever happens there. All three states overflow with natural beauty but in reality they’re shitholes.
