HIPAA always was toothless. Not only does it not apply to non-covered entities, there is no private right of action under HIPAA.

Vaccine mandates and Karens who want to ask you medical questions should of course be vigorously opposed, but HIPAA isn’t the answer to these questions.

Ask away, but I am not answering. It is no one’s business. I’ll keep my mouth shut. This is getting to the point where you have to invoke your 5th amendment rights to not incriminate yourself.

Notice who these lying articles always leave out? Doctors.

Because every doctor knows Physician-Patient Privilege. That Karen ought to be asked if it's ok said journolist call her doctor and get her treatment history. VD, manic depression, the other maladies she has besides Karen-itis that constitute a public health threat. Same goddamn thing.

Fisher says the law does not apply to private individuals, meaning businesses and employers can ask for vaccination status and proof of vaccination.

Well then what the hell is HIPPA for? I thought is was to protect the health information privacy for the individual.

Here are some possible responses to whether you are vaccinated:

"What do you think?"

"That is none of your business."

"Are you vaccinated too?"

You also could merely point to the small magnet glued to your upper arm.

It is not a HIPAA violation to ask if someone is vaccinated

In any case, it is certainly not a violation to lie when replying!

My best friend is an attorney. She has told me numerous times that if you decline a vaccine for yourself or your child its illegal to ask you why. As far as asking if you have been vaccinated IDK.

I guess it could be asked to avoid hiring/keeping those who’ve taken the experimental, unproven and seemingly dangerous shots, then?

HIPAA has teeth, you just need to understand where they are. Entities with your medical info cannot share it without your permission. That matters. And the fines for violating it are pretty intense. That doesn’t stop anybody from asking, it just means they only get the answer with your permission.

Just for yucks, when perusing the WISH Shopping App I noticed they are selling Buttons and Stickers that read “I am Vaccinated” with different Graphics on them.

All the Items on WISH come from China.

It’s like a guy who owns a Glass Company driving down Mainstreet with a Pellet Gun trying to drum up Business.

Parents are required to show proof of half dozen vaccinations before their kids can get into school...public or private.

Proof of vaccination can be required for many things.

International travel is another.

But I don’t anticipate it will be required to conduct commerce. In fact, I’m sure it won’t.

And the commercial enterprises that now “require” it will have to negate that requirement to survive.

My answer is to ask (if a man asks) “Did you get a vasectomy?” or if a woman asks “When was your hysterectomy?”.

I figure if they are comfortable enough to ask me personal medical questions I can ask the same of them.

Anyone who asks me about vaccination will get a “Did you get you STD shot yet?” Are the sores still visible and does it still hurt when you pee?”

It is not a HIPAA violation to ask if someone is vaccinated

No...but it could get you shot in some places. For real.
