They do have foodstuffs - the snacks and drinks in the checkout areas.
They also have things that you can’t get from Amazon like lumber and concrete, so that kind of makes up for it.

They are working on it.
Change the shelf design and robots could pull the majority of packaged groceries in the near future and restock the shelves.
Dicier would be perishables such as meat, dairy, produce, etc.
