New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) announced the state will lift the indoor mask mandate ahead of Memorial Day weekend but lectured New Jerseyans, warning it is “not a license to be a knucklehead.”
Beginning Friday, May 28, the state will lift the indoor mask mandate, although businesses will be able to require customers and employees to wear a face-covering in their respective establishments if they so choose.

I'm in Delaware, where the mandate was just lifted. I've never seen businesses move so fast as the ones I normally patronize to get rid of all their signs and other symbols of compliance.
And yet, as of yesterday, I'd say about seventy percent of patrons were still wearing masks.
😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
Lifting Mask Mandate ‘Not a License to Be a Knucklehead’?
You and a few other governors have already patented that...
Maybe he meant ****head but caught himself?
Unfortunately, I live in NJ.
I can tell from posts I see on line and conversations I hear that at least 50% of the people here have no intention of removing their masks anytime soon, if ever.
I expect most businesses will still require it. This state is hard core stupid and afraid.
LOL! Beau calls the dogs, ‘Chuckleheads.’
Went to a greenhouse today - not a mask in sight! Stopped at Walmart for some groceries - a FEW masks on elderly people but staff was no longer wearing them and no one gave me a dirty look because I wasn’t wearing one. It was nice to see people smile at me!
The mandatory mask mandate for Wisconsin has ended, with the exception of a few Knucklehead Mayors and such in pockets of our state.
LIBERATE WISCONSIN! LIBERATE AMERICA! ALL OF IT!
I hate the stupid masks, so I guess I’m a knucklehead! And a Neanderthal! And a deplorable!
When will the name-calling stop? Phooey, anyway!!!!

We were born with the inalienable right to be a knucklehead.
Knuckleheads were the ones that put the mask mandate on in the first
New Jersey, where the knuckleheads in the legislature won’t let people pump their own gas.
However....Being Governor IS “a license to be a Knucklehead”!
If I have this guy’s speed right, he only does these things when he is caught violating his own rules. Betcha there will be a photo of him not wearing a mask.
There has never been a license required to be a knucklehead, you knucklehead.
Maybe the citizens of New Jersey want that knucklehead license just like their Governor!!!!
Pumping your own gas doesn’t provide any real benefit other than if you like the smell of grease and gasoline on your hands.
“Pumping your own gas doesn’t provide any real benefit other than if you like the smell of grease and gasoline on your hands.”
Wiping your own butt doesn’t provide any real benefit other than if you like the smell of poop and stink on your hands.
Hmmm, seems smell wasn’t the point.
Not really making much of a point there.
That's exactly the approach I've taken since last Wednesday here in CT. Many of the business still have signs requesting customers to mask up but I'm having none of it. I just go right in there with no mask. If they tell me to put it on, I'll just leave and I'll never come back. I won't give the employees a hassle but I'll find the store manager's name and send him/her an email politely stating so.
So far however, nobody has challenged me about not wearing a mask but I have gotten a few dirty looks from customer Karens.
Where does one get a license to be a knucklehead? Is there required training? How much is the State fee? What is the duration of the license until it needs to be renewed?
Can I start with a learners permit?
What does having a knucklehead license allow you to legally do that not having one does not allow? Driving certain models of Harley Davidsons?
