A bar in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood is now requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry.
CC’s posted on its Facebook page that the new policy will take effect May 22. The post pointed to constant changing of mask directives as part of the reason for the new policy, saying the changes “caused confusion and frustration over the right thing to do.”
The bar said that the policy protects staff and everyone who chooses to enter and provides incentive to get vaccinated.
Customers have to show a copy or picture of their vaccine card with the name and date matching their legal ID to enter.
“We understand this may be inconvenient or controversial for some, but it is safer for everyone in the long run,” the post read.
Owner: Heeeeey! You can’t carry that gun in here!
Patron: It’s for religious purposes!
BAM!
So, what if the door man tells you to hold it next to your face, for a photo? Now what? Gotcha!
Thanks. I have been told HIPAA only keeps a person’s medical info out of their hands.. Many others have access to it.
Just say No.
That is what I do when Stupid Rite Aid and Target cashiers try to scan my State Id barcode for purchases.
In fact I have a piece of tape over it for that very reason
Maybe if it’s the vaccinated who are the ones required to get yellow star tattoos...
Somebody posted a pdf with printing crop marks here on FR last week. I didn’t save the post. I think it was from DOD or a branch. I don’t see one with a Google search.
The rumor is that the governments are going to let the businesses enforce the Covid-19 passport concept. One area I have not read about, what happens when a customer of those businesses which confirm the vaccination develops Covid-19? Well we live in a sue happy country. If the government check your vaccination status they are covered from almost all suits. But a private business; cha-ching, cha-ching!
Just stay out of gay bars altogether — and then you won’t get AIDS either.
I am SHOCKED that a google search did not turn anything up
I asked the Duck and I got some with and without crop marks

That’s it. I looked all over DDG and couldn’t find it. Great job.
I’m astonished that hasn’t been taken down!
Overheard at local liquor store yesterday... He and wife moved here (Texas) from Seattle. She works from home. Her boss in Seattle wants her to move back. He said SEATTLE IS FILTHY and they don’t want to move back there! They love Texas.
Great comment! makes you think!
I did a little more research and found out that when you get a Vax the info goes into what is called IIS
Immunization Information Systems,is a lifetime registry that keeps track of immunization records for people of all ages. The system is a secure, web-based tool for healthcare providers and schools.
It seems that each state has one, and shares all this info freely with schools, medical providers the federal and even foreign governments.
Having read the FB comments it sounds like CC Attle’s caters to ca-ca-cattle.
Yup but we know darn well 6 months from now this will be the norm across the country. I just don’t get it the fewer deaths and cases there are the worse these people get.
HIPPA only applies to health care providers and accosiated entities. All other entities can share whatever information about your health they desire.
By requiring protected private information and mandating an EUA only shot, also illegal, wouldn’t that put him afoul?
Thanks. But please explain.. If a health care provider or associated entity cannot share a person’s info, how does if fall into the hands of other entities?
