It’s things like this that make me appreciate that all we really have to deal with here in the northeast is snow.
The occasional nor’easter is preferable to an erupting volcano.
I would leave in a panic also. Sure, at the moment it poses no threat to the city, but how many times have scientists assured us that everything is just fine and “not likely to happen.” and then it does?
Earthquakes, tornados, forest fires, volcanos ?? I’ll take a Nor’easter any time over the others.
