Afternoon there, neighbor! There's a new disease in town, and I wanted you to know about it. It gives the chills and sweats and headaches and fevers and diarrhea and a cough and it can kill you. Not a cold or a flu, but a new thing. It can kill most of us, it turns out. Very dangerous.

Bad habits — even nasty, dirty, unhealthy habits like breathing through a rag — take time to break. It takes courage and a return to sanity ... both of which it’s clear are difficult for many still irrationally frightened and still irretrieveably ignorant people.
I wonder if we did nothing and everyone went on about our business if we would be further along. It was going to unfortunately kill people anyways, I think the lockdown dragged it out. I ended up catching it anyways.

I am convinced fewer people would have died if we had done absolutely nothing.
