In 2008, shortly after becoming a U.S. senator, Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and her husband, John Bessler, began renting a house in Arlington, Virginia, from Chuck Todd, then NBC News’ political director. I unveil the ties between Todd and Democratic campaigns in my explosive new book, Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruptions.

It’s over. He’ll resign in shame by the end of the week. /s
Marxist incest!
Loved how RUSH would call him F-Chuck Todd
“It’s over. He’ll resign in shame by the end of the week. /s”
Now that’s funny! Everyone knows Democrats have no shame.
Media and politicians think they are not bound by the rules expected of the rest of us. They are very protective and secretive of the chummy little club.

That old six degrees of Kevin Bacon is three degrees in and around DC. They’re all bedfellows.
Disclosures of conflict of interest don’t apply to liberals. Nor do any of our laws apply to them.
You just know she had that joint swept for bugs. I’ll bet Chuckie knew that, and had them all turned off for a bit just to let her get comfy after the sweep, and then turned them back on.
“‘Breaking the News’ Reveals: NBC’s Chuck Todd Was Amy Klobuchar’s Landlord, Didn’t Disclose During Interviews and Coverage”
Give Todd a break. I’m sure he would have rented that house to a Republican Senator if one had been the first to rent it..... Bwhahahahahaha
Louis Freeh and Joseph Biden, too, apparently.
Chuck will find a way to blame this on Trump.
Follow the money. NBC, through Chuck Todd, is likely guilty of illegal campaign payments-in-kind.
This may seem like a juicy story, who’s rooming and where, but lemmee splain......
Finding a house in the DC area is hard to do. Especially given the iffy tenures of politics. Here today, gone tomorrow.
Usually the pols have a home back home anyway. So there are rental agents all over that do temp rentals for the new in town that may be looking for something more permanent.
It has nothing to do with politics and the owner of the home may have no idea who’s rooming there from month to month, even year to year. As long as the checks cash.
It’s a nothing story.
It is an elite and incestuous club of fellow travelers. Many high level bureaucrats, political appointees and politicians in DC are married to lobbyists on K Street, journalists, heads of non-profits, or attorneys who are in a revolving door of being in and out of government. It is an exclusive club that protects and nurtures its own a the expense of the common people they despise.
Was $3200 fair market value? If so, who the hell cares?
I do think Luntz, Todd, and others that have failed or refused to disclosed their conflicts of interest should be fired. And the elected politicians should resign, regardless of party.
bad optics...

But don’t stay at a Trump hotel. It might be considered a conflict of interest. The left, including Amy Klobuchar, threatened to impeach Donal Trump for profiting from his D.C. hotel.
