What Trump Meant to Millions
American Thinker.com ^ | May 20, 2021 | Jeffrey Folks

I loved President Trump because he stood up for the ordinary people of America, those who for so long had been kept in cultural servitude by the political elite. Trump endowed ordinary Americans with a sense of possibilities by returning manufacturing jobs to America, restoring our sovereignty as a nation free of global institutions, and, above all, ending the atmosphere of political correctness that had choked free expression for decades.

Then, when the elite saw everyday Americans rising above their station, it decided to put them back in their servitude by depriving Trump of a second term, by whatever means necessary. Now the high-paying jobs are disappearing, we are bowing to the UN, IPCC, and WHO once again, and every word that comes out of the White House has to do with “social and racial justice.” The Capitol riot of Jan. 6 gave them an excuse, and now ordinary Americans are back on the cultural plantation.

To appreciate what Trump meant, one need only look at what Biden has done in four months. Liberal elitism is expressed in many ways, but the overriding theme is that the common people are too ignorant to know the truth, much less to be allowed to govern. For progressive politicians, the “truth” may shift on particular issues—“masks, no masks,” “schools closed, schools open,” “border open, border closed”—but it always comes back to the idea of big government and centralized power. At the heart of every move is the power and corruption of a self-anointed elite.

In the 1960s, against all common sense, the left backed the Black Panthers and Students for a Democratic Society, and there were few to call them out on it. There were Huey Newton t-shirts and raised fists resembling the BLM t-shirt and raised fists of today.

He stepped in and corrected common sense policy that worked for us. He did for us and not lining the politicians pockets. The politicians hated him. Both sides hates him but the republicans needed him. They still do because the know the people still want him more than anyone else running. Powell said after the stolen election that there will be republicans found as part of the steal. After that Trump had to separate himself because Trump has to hold the party together. If he opens his own party he loses because to many vote party line.

Trump didn’t start a movement - a movement started and the movement was going to have a leader. A courageous, capable man stepped up.

I hope we get him back in some capacity that can go scorched earth on the swamp. I mean severe... shocking. Devastate them, their families and their pets.

What Trump ***MEANS*** to millions.

Not past tense; but present and future tense.

Is this another form of trying to get rid of Deplorables Trumpsters?

Don’t fall for it.

And yet, to protect all he changed, Trump failed at negotiations as was his want. By not fighting, he lost.

Trump did not understand that to prevail, he had to fight and draw blood.

He will not actually fight.

What the heck are you talking about? He has to hold the Uniparty B Team together or he loses? He deserted us to hold the “party” together! Take a look around. Since he left us 1/7 the constitution, for us, has been repealed. We are living under the boot heel of the strutting fascists in DC. The military is rapidly being purged and indoctrinated. Surely you understand what that portends for you and me. The republic has crashed and burned and you’re back slapping his attempt to keep those republic killing Judases together?!

Go scorched earth on the swamp? Fat chance, he had four years before and did zip. Take a look at that four year dumpster fire swamp merry go round joke of a cabinet he had.

No so sure he did zip. If that were the case, the current landscape would be quite different IMO.

You tell me how it could be worse. Granted, you and I aren’t in camps, yet. FBI, DOJ, DOD, Education Dept., Treasury, NSC, all departments are the same or worse than in 2016. Some, like FBI, DOJ and NSC have gone full blown fascist. Again, I say zip.

I think this is a great article. It is a great encapsulation of importance of who Trump was, just simply captures him without defending him or saying, “but he has these flaws!” I’m so sick of people sticking that into articles about him.

I don’t care about his flaws. Trump was great because he understood he was the voice of millions saying, “The ruling elite in DC have lost their vision and understanding of who they are supposed to be and who the people really are. They have become corrupt and a class unto themselves. I am unashamedly, unabashedly, for the American citizen.”

I don’t believe there is anything I could say to you that would make you consider that things got done.

In my view there are things that happened that I would consider accomplishments. You just wouldn’t accept them as such. That’s fine. I don’t care.

Party politics aside, thank you for this succinct summary of what has happened.

So you think Trump needs to start his own party. Or run as Republican. I am thinking as far as votes. When he runs again in 2024 if he does it under another party then they will run a rino as Republican and biden or kamala or whomever they dig up as demo. And Trump as MAGA party or whatever he calls it. I will vote for Trump no matter what party he runs under because I want more years like the 3 before the covid crap. But so many people vote party lines I am afraid he wouldn’t pull enough voters to him. If Trump ran in 2020 as independent I wonder if he gets 70+ million votes. Well it wouldn’t have mattered because they stole it. But I was just saying after the election he wanted to keep Republican party together thinking they would have his back but they all stabbed him in the back instead.

Things got done? Very simply, what? No lectures needed, just a simple answer.

So which one, the RINO or Trump, will flip the corrupt democrat machines in Philly, Detroit, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Atlanta and now Cleveland, Houston, Miami, St. Louis and Nashville. That, just like 2020 is where the election will be determined. You haven’t paid one bit of attention since 11/4. Thinking it will be anything more than 2020 is fantasy or stupidity. When Trump or Haley gets the midnight treatment next election who’s gonna stop it, Roberts, McConnell, McCarthy? You’d best consider the new, fascist reality.
