Personally, I am VERY close to being an ‘anti-vaxxer’ when it comes to the CCP-Coronavirus.
Under the ‘leadership’ of the CON-servative Premier, Jason ‘Justin’ Kenney, four preachers were arrested for not limiting their congregation to 15 and one church was confiscated. Police ‘crashed’ several church services, interrupting and taking pix of the congregation. ALL of those actions are COUNTER to our PRINCIPAL law, Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms. One of those churches is meeting in secret, apparently outside, in an unknown location. Of course, the AHs at AHs (Alberta Health Services) are doing all they can to locate the service location and re-arrest the Preacher!
Now, Kenney is pushing the population to ‘get the jab’ from AHs. I do not trust that there is not some ulterior motive in his begging citizens to ‘get the jab’. Also, I am just plain ‘ornery’ about his allowing, nay, even encouraging the police and AHs to trample on our natural and CONSTITUTIONAL rights. If he wants me to ‘get the jab’, THAT is reason enough, not to. Screw you, Kenney, you dictator!

There are reports in VAERS of Anaphylaxis, Thrombosis, and deaths after vaccination.
The CDC is still "investigating" to see if there is a causal link between the vaccines and the ah "adverse" reactions. However, for the last year or more anyone with any health issues and a fairly high percentage of deaths have been attributed to covid-19 on the thinnest, even non-existent evidence. Therefore I believe it is only fair to similarly attribute adverse reactions to the covid vaccines the same way. If there was a vaccine in the room and someone died, then it should be blamed on the vaccine. That has literally been the logic used.
Seriously though, the real problem with "...all evidence..." is that there is so little of it. Only a relative few (a few tens of thousands out of a population of 329 million - statistically a rounding error) people have had a vaccine for about a year. There is no data, zero, none, nada on the long term side effects because no-one has yet had it long term. By long term, that is at least 3 to 5 years since that is the known window for some autoimmune disorders to present.
Therefore there is no basis to claim the vaccines are safe. About all that can be said is that they are not immediately fatal - except for perhaps a very small percentage of people. Their ability to prevent you from getting covid is still in question (lookup "breakthrough" cases), their ability to prevent transmission is very much in question. Their efficacy against certain strains of covid-19 is estimated all over the place - some claiming they work, others that they are nearly worthless. Their long term usefulness is in doubt, many are now saying boosters will be necessary. Gosh, no-one knows what might happen after multiple doses.
My take on it is there is no reason to assume the vaccines are safe. They were rushed through development. Rushed through minimal trials. Several of them are based on brand new technology. The FDA classifies them as experimental. The companies producing them are shielded from any liability. This is not a recipe that inspires confidence. Suppose Boeing said it designed and built a replacement for the troubled 737 MAX in 7 months based on brand new, never before used in aviation technology. (note, the 787 Dreamliner took 7 years) Boeing swears it is safe, the FAA swears it is safe but still classifies it as an experimental aircraft. If anything bad happens to you due to a design or production problem, your surviving family cannot sue Boeing. A few test pilots have flown them on sunny afternoons. Now, would you get in one and fly? Would you fly in one every single day for the rest of your life?
I view the vaccines as at least as risky as the covid-19, if not moreso - at least for my demographic.

You can’t make any conclusion from VAERS and the site specifically warns against doing so.
But, if someone says they “I just don’t trust them.” that’s all the reason they need to refuse the shot.
