The last remaining World War II Nazis are living comfortably at home in Germany, leading normal lives and, in some instances, are still proud of their participation in one of world history’s biggest atrocities.
In the chilling new documentary “Final Account,” out Friday, British director Luke Holland, whose grandparents were killed in the Holocaust, interviewed several former Nazis about their memories of the murderous Third Reich. It took him 10 years to track his elderly subjects down and capture them on film. And Holland himself died in June shortly after completing his movie.

Without any regret they still looked up to Reed and still believed the old Communist propaganda. These old men and women who were still the true believers even after everything Stalin had done. Truly pathetic and scary also.
If Hitler had launched he attack at least two months earlier it might have been totally different outcome, especially if Hitler had no been obsessed with taking Stalingrad.

Patton hated Nazis but he also shared a lot of their beliefs.
He’s a perfect example of a man who needs a grand statue for him as the great general he was and a grave to piss on as a human being he was.
For later reference
It is good that Holland documented the ideology of these remaining Nazis for history.
What I know about Patton suggests that he’s a guy you’d want to have with you in a foxhole...but wouldn’t necessarily want to hang out with.
