That Trump was controlled by Putin and served his agenda was the opposite of reality. First Obama, and now Biden, have accommodated Moscow far more.
That the Kremlin had taken over American political institutions through its blackmail control of former President Donald Trump was a media conspiracy theory as pervasive as it was deranged. This once-exciting script was excavated from the CIA’s Cold War basement, dusted off by their operatives, and then kicked off by the intelligence community’s purposeful dissemination of the now-debunked Steele Dossier. And once this fairy tale was launched, there were seemingly no limits on the depths to which media figures would sink to promote it.
Journalists published best-selling books and column after column hyping this melodrama of international intrigue. In what was just one of many low points, MSNBC’s host Chris Hayes earnestly interviewed New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait about the latter’s 2018 cover story speculating that Trump may have been groomed as a Russian intelligence asset since 1987. “Unlikely but possible” declared the on-screen cable graphic as Hayes spoke, summarizing the media’s Trump-era renunciation of all standards of rationality and evidence for disseminating unhinged conspiracies to their audience, at great profit for themselves but great harm to everything and everyone else.

This is actually being opposed by many European countries/politicians/people.
A way to get Germany hooked on Russian resources. Once they are hooked, Putin can just threaten to shut the pipeline and voila!
Germany is shutting down domestic coal and atomic energy. They will became Russian energy colony in no time.
Trump was proposing US natural gas exports to Europe. They actually build/bulding some port terminal to offload natural gas from the boats. Since Bidet seems to plan to get US again dependent on imported energy and stop exporting, Europe has to get their energy from somewhere else.
All the global warming policies are designed to destroy Western Civilization.
There wasn’t much I opposed with Trump, but I always thought that the pipeline was a good idea, as right now, Germany and the rest of Western Europe have far more to worry about from their environmental 5th Column, than from the Russians. They need a source of energy for the day they figure out that they just got rid of everything they had and have virtually nothing to replace it with.

In one move Biden has turned Germany, the most prosperous state in Europe, into a Russian asset. Not only will this make Russia richer, it will give them a valuable ally in the west. They must dance to Russia’s tune or lose the cheap gas they need to keep their factories going. Who gets screwed? Who always gets screwed? Poland. Biden has handed Putin the Keys to Europe and made possible the old Czarist dream of the “Third Rome.” The EU is dead. Good thing is Russia knows how to handle Islamic People and Turks. The Third Rome will save Christian Europe and Orthodoxly will replace the Roman Catholic Church. History will pivot on this one move. Thanks Biden!
