CNN anchor Don Lemon said on his broadcast of “Don Lemon Tonight” that the Republican Party was trying to “whitewash” the events of the January 6 Capitol riot because House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said he did not support the legislation to create a bipartisan commission to investigate the events of January 6 because the scope is too narrow.
Lemon said, “This is live in Washington, D.C. where Republicans are trying to whitewash the Capitol insurrection, trying to stop a bipartisan commission from getting to the truth of what happened on one of the darkest days in American history.”

A high ranking BlM affiliate actually BOMBED the capitol. If we had an opposition party and/or free press this would be shouted into microphones every day since January 6th.

It was indeed one of the darkest days in American history, but not for the reason Tailpipe Don thinks (the "insurrection"). It was a dark day because our entire government participated in, and validated, a totally fraudulent election.

Both parties threw out the Constitution and swore in the ineligible Kenyan/British subject/Indonesian.
An Insurrection was what BLM, Antifa, Pence and Congress did on January 6th.
A Counter-Insurrection is what Trump/MAGA people did.
