The unsettling part was having to accept that I live among so many sheeple desperate to lick the boots of those that would beat them. Up until the Scamdemic I stupidly believed people were victims of oppressive regimes, not understanding that so many beg to be slapped around.
I need to relocate among adults. I'm on the edge of an urban area and urbanization breeds infantilism.
