.....
The terrorist organization claimed that the rocket attacks were in retaliation for the continued air strikes on Hams targets in Gaza.
Hamas said it attacked air force bases in Hatzor, Hatzerim, Nabataean, Tel Nof, Palmachim and Ramon.

Rocks thrown at signs by children don’t count as attacking an air base. Seriously, if the Israeli air operations were not degraded then their statement is just to placate their people, troll their pet presstitues, and try to impress the external paymasters. None of their propaganda is slowing down the IAF other than a lack of ready targets as they bomb out the low hanging fruit.

They should be using FAEs on the tunnel complexes
They should be using FAEs on the tunnel complexes
If Hamas limited rocket attacks to military targets they would be doing better in the court of public opinion. Instead they shot themselves in the foot (sometimes literally) by firing 3000 indiscriminately at civilians.
Update: The late Muhammoud Muhkassa Mumusia was said to have given the scoop to AP just before he was hit by a drone with 300 pounds of incendiary explosives on his forehead. No further word from him.
Hamas is getting desperate. They can smell the freshly turned soil that is their grave, and martyrdom has apparently lost its appeal. Israel is determined to have a lasting peace and will take the necessary steps to procure it. And the whole world is watching.
Bottle rockets are unpredictable.
They should drop about 500 GBU-43/B MOABs spaced about a 1000 yards a part in a line about a 1000 yards inside the Gaza border.
Radius Damage:
Up to 1000 yards: Obliterates everything.
Up to 1 mile: Knocks people, tents, light buildings, cars and jeeps over within 1-mile radius.
Up to 1.7 miles: Shockwave kills people, causes severe damage to properties, equipment, blows trucks, tank off road.
Up to 2 miles: Causes deafness.
Up to 5 miles: Shakes ground, break windows.
Up to 30 miles: 10,000 foot high mushroom crowd.
Give a few weeks to see what happens then repeat as necessary.
If so, huge mistake.
My bet is those Hamas vermin who fired them, got paid a bad visit. Bibi is NOT MESSING AROUND!
They already have and did great damage.
A gag. Sometimes my satires are prescient, other times true appearing and mostly silly. This was silly.
Turn Gaza into the next IAF base.
Gaza Terrorist Murder Gangs Problem solved
They have special tunnel busting bombs - so far 130 km has been destroyed; fighters in the tunnels have been left to die so as to avoid revealing the many hundreds/thousands of regular troops lost.
about a 1000 yards inside the Gaza border.
Why limit the strike to 1000 years inside - go for broke and take them all out. If not, they will just come back later with more tunnels and more and deadlier rockets.
If Hamas limited rocket attacks to military targets they would be doing better in the court of public opinion.
—
Hamas can’t limit its rockets to military targets because a) the object is to kill as many Jews as possible per its charter and b) they currently do not have GPS units for their rockets; if they did they would precisely target heavily populated areas - they could care less about military targets.
And screw the court of public opinion - this is war, not a popularity contest.
Israel plans to wind the event down next week (as most objectives will be achieved) and expects Hamas to do likewise.
There can be no ceasefire because there are no terms. If Hamas does not stop, then the IAF and the Shen Bet will continue were they left off ... do not expect Hamas to stop.
