Moderate Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who often work together on legislative issues, are appealing to congressional leaders to reauthorize a version of the Voting Rights Act that is most likely to get bipartisan support.
They’ll still need 60 votes, unless the Dems can get Lin Wood to give them another seat or two. Then they’ll only need 50 votes.
The word “moderate” doesn’t belong in a sentence with the Voting Rights Act.
It is the Repukes giving in.
The sooner people like manchin and murkowski are gone the better.. you don’t need to deal with these people you annihilate them and and get them out of the way
