Insisting on masks despite the science is just partisan posturing gone mad

We slammed Gov. Andrew Cuomo the other day for his refusal to simply accept the CDC guidelines and greatly loosen New York’s mask mandates, but the sad fact is that he’s hardly alone.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is only talking about lifting his mandate by June 15, when he means the state to reopen. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is keeping his mandate “as we continue to work toward our vaccination goals,” which makes no sense at all: Masks are pointless for those who’ve been jabbed, and the potential freedom to go unmasked is actually a great incentive to get vaccinated.

And Speaker Nancy Pelosi is retaining her must-mask rule for the House floor, although not for members’ offices

Sorry, folks: Maybe in your mind you’re signaling some refusal to identify as a Trump supporter, but in reality you’re just living in the past or playing a self-defeating kind of partisan politics, which is particularly obscene for governors like Cuomo who insist they’re “following the science” even when the science says otherwise.

Please: Get over it.

I’m weird in that I appreciate masks and distancing. It’s nice to have space.

The vaccines though are another story. I’d be more trusting of them too, even with all the effects, if there was more transparency.

Wearing masks and forcing distancing is dehumanizing...
And it’s being done on purpose with no “science” behind it...it is social engineering to the extreme.

I am a human. Humans are social animals...I refuse to not be social.

No mask...no distance.

Vax is your own decision...I don’t trust them but do what you want...don’t force me to do what I don’t want.

Sheeple exist, in large numbers. This will somewhat prove such. Further, the insistence is the Leftist way of seeing who exactly is subservient, compliant, easily made to follow idiotic sh*t.

While we all know exactly why they can’t let go of the idiotic mask thing, there is zero real-world justification for it at this point. There have been at least three studies, the most recent conducted by Stanford University and published by the NIH, that have reached the conclusion that masks provide statistically insignificant benefits at best, and no benefit at all at worst. The Stanford study concluded the latter, that masks do absolutely nothing, as the virus is 184 nanometers in diameter (might be off very slightly on that, I remember it is 180-something nanometers), while the holes in the masks most are wearing vary across a range of a few hundred MICROMETERS, depending upon the material. Micrometers are 1,000 times larger than nanometers, so the futility of trying to block the virus with common masks is blatantly obvious.

In addition, we have the additional, independent variable of how states with high levels of mask wearing fared as compared to those that relaxed restrictions earlier. And here again, there was virtually no difference in health outcomes, with those with the highest mask compliance actually faring a little worse.

Aside from the fact that everyone has been wearing nothing but a placebo for over a year, there is the illogic of recommending that vaccinated people be allowed to go back mostly to normal, without wearing masks, while the non-vaccinated be required to continue wearing masks. Huh? If, as we are assured, the vaccinated are protected, then what difference does it make what those who CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE to avoid the vaccination do? They may have a remote chance of infecting each other (remote, because the vaccinated combined with those who have already been infected with the Wuhan virus probably already equal enough for herd immunity), but even if that happens that’s a risk they are well aware of and choose to take.

The craziest thing of all is morons like Rachel Maddow talking about their continued anxiety at possibly having to mix with maskless unvaccinated people. None of this makes any sense at all, and the lightning-fast switch by the Biden flunkies from “feeling of impending doom” to “hey, don’t worry, be happy” strongly implies that their pre-mask freedom day doomsaying was manufactured and done for control. Biden driving the country into the ground faster than expected just caused them to have to give up the charade sooner than they wanted to in an attempt to distract from the damage.

The masks to the DNC are what the burka is to Islam.

Simply a control method and that’s it
