“Our profession today is unrecognizable,” says investigative journalist Lara Logan. A former correspondent for CBS’s “60 Minutes” and now the host of Fox Nation’s “Lara Logan Has No Agenda,” Logan has been at the frontlines for years, reporting on everything from war zones to gang warfare to the Benghazi scandal.
And she’s witnessed the transformation of media from what it was meant to be, with many journalists now blurring the lines between fact and opinion, she says.
“They’re not journalists. They’re political assassins, working on behalf of political operatives and propagandists,” Logan argues.
What are the root causes of this shift? And how are a lot of media entities working hand in hand with Big Tech companies to shape narratives and public discourse?

The media has been this way for a long time. I remember reading stuff from Accuracy in Media and Media Research Center 30 years ago. Books were written about Hollywood liberalism more than 40 years ago, to say nothing about the communism that ruled there prior to that. Maybe they were more subtle in the past, but I doubt even that. If the media shifted, it happened a very long time ago.
The Ministry of Propaganda has been a fact of life for decades.
One claim is that journalists are to be “nonpartisan” and “neutral” in reporting of political events.
However when one political party - the Demonicrats - promote, support and enable truly wicked, demonic, antiAmerican activities, to remain “neutral” in reporting such abominations destroys the credibility of such alleged “journalism.”
When evil and violence and murder and treason are willfully committed, especially by past and current Demonicrat regimes and their enemedia allies, it can only truthfully be reported as evil, violence, murder, and treason.
To neutrally report that such actions are simply one political view contrasted with another opposite view of political opponents destroys the very ethical basis journalists use in claiming to be “nonpartisan” and “neutral.”

Lara Logan is a great reporter. But she is also a woman, with the best rack in the biz. So better pix...please!
Cronkite became a celebrity. Mixing celebrity with any profession diminishes the professional performance. Think TV doctors.

I’ve been half tempted to get Fox Nation mostly for Tucker’s long interviews of interesting people on Tucker Carlson Today. He’s also got an investigative series that I don’t remember the name of. Just watched a short clip of Lara Logan Has No Agenda. Couldn’t quite make out the accent so I had to look her up. South African.
Unfortunately, real news is headed towards the subscription based model because the left beats down advertisers until they stop advertising on foxnews.
