Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors has shared a story blasting the 'white supremacy' of the housing market just weeks after her own $3 million property portfolio was revealed.
Cullors made the remark while sharing an NPR story about black home ownership levels on her Instagram account.
She wrote: 'Thank you @npr for highlighting the history of racism inside of the housing market and why Black homeownership has always been a way to disrupt white supremacy.'

How much American real estate (residential and commercial) is now owened by CHINA?
No one is collecting data like that.
I know after the 2008 economic period...especially in Phoenix, a number of Chinese guys showed up for ‘syndicates’ (groups of Chinese who bundled money to invest outside of China and beyond the view of the Chinese government).
Probably a couple hundred homes bought in that area and rented out...with the money paid to some management team and they probably bundle the money to buy more housing units as investment procedures.
You see the same type situation going on in Europe today, with the process mostly tied to money-laundering and investing for the future.

Far too much. I’ve seen and heard quite a lot about certain websites in China where they tell people where to buy up the property. As soon as an area gets listed there, Chinese buyers show up en masse with all-cash offers. Leaves a lot of Americans unable to buy and stuck renting.
Glad I bought before any of that nonsense took off, but I feel bad for the younger folks who get priced out of American markets by Chinese buyers using money from who-knows-where to buy up American real estate for who-knows-what purpose.
BLM Cullors is a race baiting fraud. She harps on black racism while actually proving that it doesn’t exist.

Blacks were particular victims of the 2008 mortgage bust. Obama and ACORN forced banks to reduce lending standards for blacks or face charges of racism. Blacks defaulted on mortgage payments in large numbers. Blacks, of course, were not alone in mortgage defaults. A gazillion of bad loans were issued to people who couldn’t make the balloon payment.
I’ve heard that about West Coast areas and NYC; young homebuyers are shut out by Asian money.
Apparently blacks have heard it as well, because they’re attacking Asians left and right...

Newark NJ a few years back offered lots to residents for as little as $1,500.00; the usual suspects lined up to get them, but eventually most were returned to the city. When the gibsmedats realized that condition of buying them was building on it within five years, they realized it was converting them from perpetual beggars into taxpayers - and they balked. Most of the lots sit neglected and overgrown today, with the city listed as the official owner.
FWIW, plenty of whites on Section 8 as well; acquaintances who operate rental properties describe how they once shunned Section 8 but as the economy collapsed they were seen as the most reliable payers (since the gubmint sends the money). They are a key segment in the faux economy developed in the NYC metro area to replace the real economy destroyed by high taxes...
Those were ‘liars loans’. In the years leading up to that, I worked in the file room for the installment loan dept. of the local bank. I was proof that a person can live on air.
But-I processed loans for people whose income and lending status were lower than MINE!! That went on all through the several years before 1980.
