New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday "harassment is not making someone feel uncomfortable" and that he's "eager" to tell New Yorkers the other side of the story, as he repeated that he did nothing wrong regarding allegations that he sexually harassed multiple women.
Cuomo took questions from the media after giving a COVID-19 update from the Bronx.

Moving those goalposts Andy???
“harassment is not making someone feel uncomfortable”
actually, in the workplace, especially if sexually charged, it is
I think his “eagerness” is a problem. Meanwhile, creepy much?
Cuomo is right out of the political realm that created this stuff. It’s somewhat fitting that this would take him down, though it does distract from his complicity in thousands of coronavirus deaths. Cuomo is a complete dirtbag, Andrew and Chris both.
It goes without saying that many more people will try the “harassment is not making someone feel uncomfortable” defense now!
Cuomo says ‘harassment is not making someone feel uncomfortable’.
—
What!? By the very definition of the word, harassment, sexual in nature or not, is deliberately making someone uncomfortable.
In before Mariam-Webster does a rewrite fullwise upsub antefiling on the definition of “harassment” to make one of the definitions of the word benign in nature.
So was he trying to make women uncomfortable ?

Obtuse definition : not quick or alert in perception, feeling, or intellect; not sensitive or observant; dull.
The keyword there is “deliberately.”
Conservatives screamed that someone simply being “uncomfortable” is not harassment way, way before Cuomo became a target.
I remember when they said we had to take down certain posters and change our language usage in the Marine Corps because if anyone didn’t like the poster or words, it was “harassment” all of a sudden. If I sent an email to a coworker, and another coworker accidentally saw it, and was offended, I was all of a sudden guilty of harassing the person to whom I didn’t even send the dang email!
We did not put up those posters or use that language to PURPOSEFULLY make someone feel uncomfortable, but the new WOKE crowd as early as the 1990s started changing the whole meaning of the word.
I am NOT trying to defend Cuomo, I am simply stating that most Conservatives were using this same argument when the whole PC crap broke loose in the ‘90s!
Now the unintended consequences have started biting the people who worked with and started the whole WOKE CROWD - LOL!
It was always defined as unwanted sexual attention. A second definition was quid pro quo.
Making someone feel uncomfortable because of unwanted attention is almost the textbook definition of harassment.
That’s exactly what they taught us in sexual harassment training, is that it is harassment if the other person feels harassed.
But I’ve never been comfortable with that definition. What if someone feels harassed and I’ve given them no reason at all to feel that way?
Now, If someone tells you they are uncomfortable with a specific behavior, then you need to stop.
If watching Cuomo go down means having to watch him go down slowly then I’m fine with that.
Democrats always want to change their own rules when it will benefit/protect one of their own. Then when the new rule comes back to bite another one of their kind in the butt, they claim the rule is unfair, and want to change it again.
How many State employees has this douche bag's administration terminated for being accused of doing the same thing, or even less offensive behavior?
Oh wait, he's a democrat politician. Never mind.
Amazing how liberals can just change definition and meaning of language and dialogue. The Red Queen herself couldn't come up with this kind of logic and turn of a phrase.
Is manslaughter harassment?
