They will not be. I’m in CA with teens and following things closely. California Community Colleges—all 100+ of them—are offering only maybe 20% in person classes for Fall 2021. And Cal State campuses—there are 23 of them, serving millions of students, are still offering maybe 50% hybrid/in person for Fall 2021.
And K-12 teachers unions are lobbying for 3 days a week in person only in CA for Fall 2021.
Maybe but on June 15th there is supposed to be a big announcement from Newsom that everything is going back to normal, no restrictions. He may move this up with yesterday’s announcements. This is a fast changing story so we won’t know what is happening next. A week ago they were saying no changes until maybe Mother’s Day 2022 or later.
