Palestine was just a name given by the Romans when they defeated the Jews in AD70 or so - to wipe the name Israel from the world; nice try Romans - who’s still around? Secondly there never was a nation called Palestine, just the area; no king or governor nor peoples - the inhabitants there didn’t call themselves Palestinians until after 1948 when Israel was reborn.

That ‘land’ was never called Israel until after 1948 ... Several peoples before the children of Israel (Jacob) were freed from bondage in Egypt. held that land ... But it was for a time called Judah, until after a civil war it became divided and the land was called Judah, (tribe of Judah and tribe of Benjamin) ... and The northern kingdom was called Samaria, where the 10 tribes had their own king ... The Heavenly Father ‘divorced’ the House of Israel for her spiritual whoredoms, and sent them into captivity to the Assyrian king... Course two hundred or so years later, the tribes of Judah and Benjamin were taken by King Neb to Babylon.
