Come on let’s look at this honestly. That was a response to COVID pandemic when people were forced to stay home instead of working.
Picking this as a response is very suspicious when there are too many example to list of President Trump’s beneficial effect on World peace, employment rate, benefits to Veterans, an up to date Military with supplies, better salaries, conditions & medical care, Corporations opening plants in the USA, industries being revitalized, Companies moving back to the USA, the new treaty w/ Canada & Mexico. The border wall and improvement on deportations. These are only a few points.
Stefanik is a NY republican by birth, but witnessed the vile tactics used against her party, so she’s moving right. She’ll be OK in this spot. Sharp, well spoken, and likable. She fits in a “big tent” R party, imho. Supports DjT.
The fascinating question is who NY Ds will gerrymander out of a job. Its more likely Schumer and Pelosi consider AOC much more of a pain in the ass and dangerous than 1 upstate R could ever be.
Each partisan vote in the house makes a difference in this session, (218D-215R as it is today) but Pelosi should realize she’ll lose 20-60 D seats in 18 months, so one lone R seat won’t make a difference.

Elise is NY. She has not been wholehearted in her support for POTUS Trump. She has pledged to only serve two years and sh did not vote to impeach. She is acceptable to both the RINO & MAGA but best buds with neither.

Same here! They’re preventing the GOP from going further in the populist direction and thereby cutting further into the Democrat base. They’ll be gone soon, God willing, and they’ll quickly find a very lonely situation with both Dems and virtually all of the GOP not wanting anything to do with them.
