Emergency Motion Filed for Release of Cancer Patient Who Contracted COVID While Being Held in Jail Over Capitol Protest

I've got a feeling they're going to milk this to prop up their image as humanitarian guardians of justice.

It's a two-fer:
1.First they get rid of something about to become an embarrassment for the mayor and prosecution. The patriots are dumped without their day in court. The prosecutors are saved from recourse by the people they prosecuted.
2. It's an opportunity to grab the front page looking all magnanimous and owed our gratitude and support.
This may have been their intention all along.
