In the last 40 years, Democrats went from supporting blue collar union workers and the companies that hired them.

Today, Democrats oppose all manufacturing and most blue collar work.

The party has been taken over by the environmentalists and communists.

PROOF that a political party can be taken over by radical people....something we need to do with the GOP.

Look at the typical union in a major manufacturing sector today. Invariably, you’ll find that there are something like 10-12 retirees in that union for every one that is actively working. It’s actually pathetic to see what “the labor movement” has become in the U.S.

That’s why Democrats are smart to abandon the workers in these unions. They get far more political traction by ignoring the workers and pandering to the retirees.
