NO WARNING SHOTS! It is a waste of ammo that could have been better used to sink one or two of the boats which would be an actual warning. Just shooting off rounds into the water only tells the Iranians that the US is not serious and that a guided unmanned boat with a couple of tons of HE could get through if it approaches obliquely..

Yes, no more warning shots. 50 cal Target Practice. At least disable the engine. 3 slugs at most. It takes some nice marksmanship practice. Our kids can do it!
