DeSantis has proven who he is. I would support him as Trump’s VP, or even as you say, the front runner if Trump bows out.

President Trump has the ticket if he will accept it. He has already done more for Americans, taken more heat than any President since the founders. He delivered on his promises despite treachery and obstruction from the right and dirty tricks from the left. If he is willing we could not do better!

Many FReepers would disagree with what you said. But you're right. Media had destroyed Trump the last time around. Personally, I think Trump is waiting to see if DeSantis wins reelection as the Governor of Florida in 2022. If so, then Trump is prepared to pass the MAGA torch to DeSantis.
Trump will run in 2024 only if he feels he has to, but that would be the last resort.
