There’s no chimeric HIV shell in the Wuhan virus.

That whole thing was based on an analysis by Indian computer scientists who didn’t understand molecular biology or bioinformatics.

That's an interesting comment. I read way early on in the pandemic that no SARS virus had a furin cleavage site; but that Ebola and HIV did. Going back to the article reposted from Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and the insert noted by Nobel Laureate and former President of Cal Tech David Baltimore, as "a smoking gun".
