I’m sorry you have had such bad experiences. No, at least in CA, judges are not bought off by attorneys. And if you have evidence to the contrary, it is your obligation to present it. If you do not have such evidence, it is unfair to make these inflammatory accusations and charges.

So they represent despicable characters or entities. When I was in practice, so did I. That is part of the ethical obligations of lawyers.

Fyi, your response to my post reeks of condescension as is typical of a lot of lawyers so I do believe you are a lawyer as you claim to be.

That said, your argument that bribery doesn’t go on in our legal system is an argument typically propounded by persons who are either intentionally lying, are practicing duplicity or are honestly and sadly ignorant of the contradicting historical facts.

Either way, in my opinion, what you say is counter to countless articles about our corrupt, 3rd world judiciary; therefore, it disserves readers about this system/franchise/club lawyers designed for themselves and practice in every day. In Texas, the system has been honing its corruption now for 82 years.

So, with respect to your assertions about “inflammatory accusations” and my “obligations”, I suggest you look in the mirror and consider your own obligations about fairness to people caught in “the system”.

Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, and just for the record, I have had several “good” lawyers and I have had many bad ones over 50 years. Indeed, that’s pretty much the way it goes in any profession. But, I’m certain, based upon vast experience as a layman engaged in trying to survive the corruption, that our legal profession is not the Marquis Diamond you polish it up to be,
