It's no conspiracy. Legacy of late-night radio legend Art Bell is at stake in NJ lawsuit

What’s unfolding in a New Jersey court might confound even the late-night radio legend and king of conspiracies Art Bell.

In one corner is David Rubini, a fast-talking on-air talent with a Texas twang, who styles himself a former protégé of Bell’s and his disciple on the radio mic.

Rubini’s nemesis, Michael Marshalek of Hoboken, is a conspiracy-radio fan turned anti-face-mask crusader. Of late, he faces charges for allegedly holding his 5-year-old son captive during a police standoff over COVID restrictions.

He was married 4 times.

Viagra is the chemical that changed the world almost as much as birth control did. Here is Art with his youngest wife.

(sorry, bad joke, 5th child)

George is on almost every night on the radio. His guest or part timer hosts are superior though. George sounds bored and insincere. He’s no Art Bell.

Yes, he's no Art Bell and he's a poor broadcaster. Often, you have no idea whom he's interviewing, as he rarely mentions the guest's full name.

What I deeply miss and appreciated about Bell was his ability to show even guest, some who many listeners might find kooky: RESPECT, something greatly lacking in society today. We don’t have to agree with each other in order to BEHAVE respectfully.

I just loved Art Bell. He interviewed anyone with complete respect and sincerely brought out the most incredible questions and material. He was a great interviewer.

His shows were so fascinating even though I had to get up for work at 6am I could not turn off his show and was up till what, I forget, like 3am listening.

On Dark Matter I think it was he had a woman on who supposedly had a Bigfoot living in the woods behind her house. I do not believe in Bigfoot, but that show was so incredible I ended up after it was over saying to my friends, ‘so you mean to tell me I’m now going to believe in Bigfoot!’

His shows were so well done. His legacy, no matter how or who does it, should be preserved. He was a genius in radio.

So you use your new software to read New Jersey hack news sites.

To each his own.

I use an ipad3 to look at FR. It works great for FR but most new sites buy crap scripty platforms for their tripe they pass off as writing or journalism.

The old abd unupgradable browser software on my old friend can’t deal with many web sites.

This Jersey site was better that I thought it’d be. It did open and display some text but the formatting was all wrong with text overlaid on other text. I did glean some info though as not every section was totally overlaid.

The discussion here by great freepers answered all my questions.

Is the CoasttoCoastam archive available somewhere for free, or do I gotta subscribe to CoasttoCaostam on the website? I had a subscription but I let it lapse awhile back.

Interesting. FWIW I clicked on the link with my old ipad (probably 5 years old) with a safari browser and it was no big deal. For the heck of it I tried the link with my XP PC and a newer one running Windows 10. Both read it OK.

Yeah. The ipad3 I use is pretty old. I will probably finally get a new one or Android tablet because it’s getting too obsolete.

Hardware-wise it’s great but Apple won’t support these these old machines.

I updated to the newest iOS it will run, but it’s two generations behind.

A lot of sites show up blank because of new security protocols my old software doesn’t implement.

Lucky! Ever see him about? I read once he and Ramona used to go to the Annual Pumkin festival or something around Halloween time.
