They had canvassing evidence there were illegal votes counted which is why the legislature voted for the audit.
Where was their concern when individuals were counting hanging door, swinging door, pregnant, and dimpled chads for Al Gore in 2000?

I am worried that somehow, someway the feds will conspire with the LIEberal/Socialist/Marxist/Fascist/Communist Democrats and stop the Arizona Senate recount before it is complete!

I haven’t read one article in the news media that has stated the reason for holding ballots for 22 months. It would make sense to have the ballots for that period of time for recounts and audits. Otherwise, you might as well immediately throw them away after they have been once counted.
Easy fix - U.S. Justice Department worried about Arizona Senate recount audit will reveal ironclad evidence election was stolen.

The folks on Bannon pointed this out .... Sessions first (did not have the mental capacity for that job - might have been ok in another position) and good ‘ol Bill Barr. Barr was called some “choice” names, including ‘traitor’.
They also pointed out that the DemonRats don’t pussyfoot around - they get in and BAMM, right after Rudy and any others associated with Trump can likely expect early morning knocks on the door as well.
