The vote to determine House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney’s fate in leadership is scheduled for Wednesday morning, according to an announcement sent to members Friday.

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) is slated to initiate the call for the vote to oust the Wyoming lawmaker — the No. 3 Republican in the House and daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney — who came under fire for her criticisms of former President Donald Trump.

The meeting is slated to kick off at 9 a.m., the morning after House lawmakers arrive back to Washington after their two-week recess.

I think the vote is behind closed doors and secret ballot - at least secret from the public.

I’m less concerned about her opinion of Trump than I am about her desire to keep us neck-deep in Forever Wars.

The two do seem to go together, though.

Is it going to be held in secret again?

The reason she hates Trump is he ended wars and didn’t start new ones.

They blow this and it’s over sooner rather than later for the GOP.

In February 2021 House Republicans voted 145 – 61 in secret to keep Cheney in the House Republican leadership.

Who are the 145?

All 206 House Republicans are eligible to be primaried in 2022.

Republican senators who voted to convict Trump, 2nd impeachment trial:

Richard M. Burr of North Carolina, up for re-election in 2022, claims he isn’t running again.

Patrick J. Toomey of Pennsylvania, up for re-election in 2020, claims to be retiring.

Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, up for re-election in 2022.

Mitt Romney of Utah, up for re-election in 2024.

Ben Sasse of Nebraska, up for re-election in 2026.

Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, up for re-election in 2026.

Susan Collins of Maine, up for re-election in 2026.

They are hoping this bit of political theater will re-energize you to re-elect the people who voted in February for her to continue in leadership

The RINOs are not fooling a single Trump voter. Just like Governor Kemp with his tough talk on election integrity.

I welcome the RINO ouster of Cheney, but come primary season (LESS THAN A YEAR AWAY) I'm voting out every RINO in my district and voting to replace them with Trump-endorsed conservative patriots.

They’re going to get rid of her. Not because they actually disagree with her, but because she’s hurting them politically. Republicans will be like our “moderate” Democrats. They will talk a good MAGA game to raise money and get elected but then go back to business as usual once elected. Cheney’s mistake is she didn’t pretend to be something other than who she really is.

After the RINO treachery of 2020, I don't see any Trump voter giving their vote to a RINO in the 2022 primaries. And these RINOs are going to be facing Trump-endorsed challengers.

I welcome the ouster of Lizard Cheney, but no RINO is getting my vote ever again.

Elizabeth Cheney WILL be removed from her leadership position in the GOP at the House.
Come 2022, she will LOSE in her reelection bid.
She’s done.
You gotta find someone else to worship.

Here’s how it works: Liz Cheney is the “bad guy” now. And so the plan is to MAKE you think that the GOP wants to get rid of those moderate to liberal Liz Cheney types. However the whole goal is to keep you voting for them so they can continue the leftist agenda and avoid embracing Trump who is the REAL change.
