After a lengthy lawsuit that saw the Democrats achieve few victories in their goal of stopping the audit of the 2020 ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona, they have reached a settlement with the firm involved in the audit and the Senate Republicans that will see the firm, Cyber Ninjas, cease verifying the signatures on early voting envelopes with the signatures on file from the voter.

This is like the hundredth time someone has said this about the audit. Why don’t we just wait until the audit results are in before we fall on our swords?
Also your anecdotal evidence is weak bait because when you vote in person, the signature is not as important compared to ID, voter number, and cross checking address. If you write sloppy, then vote in person. All you are doing is excusing an avenue for fraud.
It would be against the security measures put in place and approved by the Judge to make copies of signatures. If they did so then the Republicans are in big trouble.
What is the point of an audit when signature checks are voided?
My goodness, research elections that were voided. Signature checks smoked out the darn fraud.
Without auditing the ballot envelope signatures, the entire recount is pointless.
The Big Lie was committed by forging signatures of inactive, yet still registered, voters. Republican poll watchers in every major city (Detroit, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Phoenix. Philadelphia, etc.) were not allowed close enough to the signature verifiers to be able to challenge any signatures on election night due to COVID 'social distancing' protocols. The Republican Poll Watchers had to remain at least 6 feet away, and in some cases ever farther away.
If they aren't allowed to verify signatures against the voter rolls now, then there is no way to uncover fraud.
Even President Trump, in his phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State that got him impeached the second time, said that they had to look into the signatures.
You come back to me after the audit is over, and if any significant fraud, without the ability to verify signatures, is uncovered, I will pay $100 to Free Republic. If no fraud is found, you pay $100.
Hope that the Patriots & Q team have wargamed everything that could go wrong here.
LOL. How about you just give Free Republic the $100 and we all wait for the audit results?
signature verification was law at the time of the election//
More ignoring election law
Why have election law ?
This is not good IMHO.
Sorry Sparky, I’m too old to get baited by someone who can’t hold a mature conversation. Good day.
Hmmm...
IMHO, a WTF moment!
This sounds like troll talk. Why would anyone agree to this stipulation? Sounds like fraud to me?
“What I am not getting is what the RINOs think they can salvage from their “hold my beer and watch me take out Trump while I keep the Senate.” They horribly miscalculated, the Dems have the country in a pretzel hold and the Republican base will not settle down until we see RINO heads on pikes outside the city gates - and not just a couple of them, either. And the dems must be killing themselves laughing at the RINOs thinking they have any say in anything. They screwed up worse than Wile E. Cayote on his darkest days. They have not hit the canyon floor yet, much less the dead RINO bounce before they auger in for a more specatacular finish.”
Andy Jackson,
I can’t add anything.
This post is excellent.
From Andrew Oxford, Arizona Republic:
Ruled out in the settlement, at least for now, is any work to match the signatures voters signed on ballot envelopes with signatures on file with the county — a process election workers undertake when processing mail-in ballots. The settlement leaves open the possibility for the Senate’s contractors to perform such work if they provide a few days notice.
This is what I am reading, It might be that they’re not in the process yet to getting to the signatures and will notify the “Plaintiffs” 48 hrs before.
Someone who knows what is going on might shed more light on this.
The problem is that it is extremely hard to verify some signatures. I suppose some might be noticeable, but proving it is not the correct signature would be difficult and time consuming. The real problem is mail in ballots. Mail in ballots should only be allowed under special circumstances.
Ergo, NOT AN AUDIT
You may be on to something here. The agreement was to quit comparing signatures to those on file. However, locating the same handwriting does not require comparing with those on file. The ones which appear bogus can be identified and isolated. Once the case is made, then signature matches with on file and contacting the supposed "voters" can be accomplished, later.
